RACHEL KRAMER, President of Music Learning Center, Inc./Baldwin Music Education Center since 1997, is currently Associate Director of Music at St. John's Unitarian Church and serves as accompanist for MUSE-Cincinnati's Women's Choir, the Martin Luther King Chorale and the Wilmington Chorale. She is also serving as the Director of Educational Services for Music Teachers National Association. Rachel has a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and a Master of Arts Degree in Music from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Michigan. DENISE TAYLOR graduated from the College of Mt. St. Joseph with a BA in music, concentration in music therapy. Denise has been an Expressive Therapist at St. Aloysius Orphanage and taught the beginning bands and Mallet Music Makers at the Peaslee Neighborhood Center. Currently she is pursuing a masters degree in social work and continues to stay involved in music through her participation in MUSE - Cincinnati's Women's Choir and the music program at St. Frances Seraph School.


NAOMI GOERTZ majored in music at Bethel College in Kansas, with French horn her main focus and voice her second area. Peaslee Neighborhood Center in Over-the-Rhine brought Naomi to Cincinnati following her graduation from college. At Peaslee, Naomi worked as the Homework Room Assistant and Music Program Assistant, which included co-directing the Peaslee Sign Singers and Directing the beginning group of the Over-the-Rhine Steel Drum Band, as well as assisting and playing with the advanced and adult steel bands. After Naomi’s volunteer term was completed, she continued working with the steel band and eventually also served as the Music Program Coordinator at Peaslee for a time. Her recent professional life has consisted of working at the Cincinnati Ballet and then at the National Speaking of Women’s Health Foundation. Currently, Naomi fulfills her need to make music by singing with MUSE - Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir for the past 12 years. Naomi lives in Northside with her husband Chris, daughter Kate, son Alex and beagle Tanner.

EDY DREITH is returning to teach at BMEC, having taught in the program in 2003. Edy holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of South Alabama She taught high school chorus for four years in Florida, before moving to Cincinnati in 2000. Since moving to Cincinnati, Edy has been active in community music theater, choral groups, including MUSE - Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir and taught general music at St. Ursula Villa. In addition to teaching at BMEC, Edy also has an independent voice studio and is the proud mother of Abigail and Oscar!


Shawn Wyatt
SHAWN WYATT has a Master’s Degree of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of South Florida. She had a graduate assistantship at USF teaching group piano lessons and accompanying.   She received her Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University.  She has taught group and private piano lessons for 20 years.  She has also taught General Music to grades PreK – 9th in private schools in Arizona and Florida.  While living in Florida, she also taught at Florida College and Southeastern University.  At the college level, she taught group and private piano lessons, was a vocal coach, accompanied private voice and instrumental lessons, accompanied the chorus and was rehearsal and pit pianist for the musicals.  She is also accompanist to her husband, Scott, who is a tenor.  They have traveled together to his professional singing engagements with the Santa Fe Opera, San Diego Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Washington, D.C. Opera, and San Francisco Opera.  They have traveled together to the Aspen Music Festival where she was an accompanist for voice students’ lessons.  At the Zwingenburg Festival in Germany she was rehearsal pianist for Der Freischutz  by Weber.  Her husband was the lead tenor, Max.  She and her husband also enjoy performing in recitals together.  Shawn and her family are new to the Cincinnati area.  Her husband is working on his PhD in music at CCM.  She is enjoying teaching here in Cincinnati.  She is a member of MTNA and the local chapter, OMTA.
